Environmental policy

Eco Log designs, manufactures and sells modern forestry machines. Our harvesters and forwarders help enable the sustainable use of one of our most important renewable resources – the forest. The forest is dear to our hearts, the basis of our business, and a constant source of inspiration to our employees. We want our products and services to contribute to an ecologically sustainable society, and we want to drive environmental progress forward. We are striving to reduce our negative environmental impacts and optimize our resource use. Our goals:

Foster continuous improvement

Our environmental efforts must be preventive and open, with an emphasis on constant improvement.

Meet or exceed all legal and other requirements

Environmental laws and government requirements must represent a minimum level for our company’s environmental work.

Regularly review and update environmental goals

Our environmental goals are based on our environmental impact, and are continuously followed up and adapted to our operations.

Support conservation and recycling efforts

Raw materials and energy must be used as efficiently as possible. Reuse and recycling must be facilitated.

Promote knowledge

People who work in our company or under contract for us must be knowledgeable about environmental issues and aware of how the environment and human health can be affected and protected.

Share information

We must inspire our suppliers, service providers and customers to develop their own environmental efforts.
